CRD College of Health Care successfully conducted a two-day Mental Health First Aid Training on December 13–14, aimed at equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to recognize, respond to, and support individuals experiencing mental health challenges and crises.
The training was facilitated by Grace Lanceta, Nurse Educator and Director of CRD College of Health Care. Through a structured and interactive approach, participants engaged in meaningful discussions, real-life scenarios, and practical strategies aligned with Canadian mental health standards.
This comprehensive two-day session emphasized early intervention, effective communication, and compassionate support, empowering participants to confidently provide first-line mental health assistance in healthcare, workplace, and community settings.
