Food Service Worker Program

Food Service Worker Program is a 320 hour vocational career program (170 hours will be spent in classroom for theory and 120 hours for skills training). The in-class component modules focuses in preparing the students with the knowledge, attitude and skills needed for success in health care food service industry. Students will complete their internship in nursing home dietary department so they can apply the knowledge and enhance their practical skills in preparation for the work force. Food Service Worker graduates can be employed in the dietary program of hospitals, nursing homes, retirement residential homes, seniors homes, group homes & community living as food service worker, dietary aides or nutrition aides.
