Personal Support Worker


Program Description:
This program is approved under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
The 400 hours in-class component courses focuses in preparing the students with the knowledge, attitude and skills needed for success in the care giving field. The 300 hours internship (200 hours in Nursing Home, 100 hours in the community setting) gives the students the opportunity to apply in their training before entering the work place. This 700 hours in total emphasized the importance of professionalism, ethics and safe care giving in delivery of the Health Care and continuing

III-14 Clinical Placement (Community)
